The Return of JVEWeb.net

This "update" has been so long in the making that the idea of the website coming back was almost a personal joke. And every year I tried to get something going but at most I managed to post a small note about it coming back. But there was no system to write, and there was no system to publish; the last changes were actually copying some of the HTML files and editing them by hand. I could have use WordPress or something else, but the idea of having a website where I was behind the nuts' and bolts' was what this website was about in the first place. No matter, now I finally made a publishing system like I wanted. Now I get to share what I documented during my last 12 years of coding and of utilizing Linux, in the hope that it helps others and not just me.The update is not finished yet, but I am focusing in the essence rather than in the superficiality of the site. Other than the Ads, there is not a lot of code being run. And if I find a way to finance myself, it I will remove the Ads.In regards to the design, well, there is no design. Not a lot at least. I want the site to be friendly to read, friendly to print, mobile friendly, and still Lynx friendly (which is friendly with braille readers and with text-to-speech systems that help people with difficulties reading). I will use the content here myself, rather than the tons of files with lists of commands and how-tos. And I want to have it accessible and without lots of fancy graphics and elements. The material that I will publish, especially the pictures, are still CC By, so they can be used on anything, with any purpose, as long as I get credited and the license is preserved. If you take one of my pictures, modify it, and publish it/sell it; then others or me can take the edited version and do the same to it, giving you also credit for your changes of course. I did many things in my life without getting credited, which eventually made it harder to prove that I can do things (or that I have done things), so now I care about it. But I still want to make what I do accessible and usable (or re-usable).I'll continue working and improving this system, but it is now a system, so a lot of frequent updates are on the way.
